History of Educators Rising Ohio

Educators Rising Ohio began as Future Teachers of America in 1937.  In 1989, Future Educators of America carried on the tradition of inspiring, recruiting and preparing promising students for education careers. The organization was established as Future Educators Association in 1991 by the Ohio Department of Education, in collaboration with Phi Delta Kappa International®. In 2015, the organization transitioned to become Educators Rising.
