Educators Rising Ohio is excited to invite all interested students to participate in the Logo Design Challenge for the 2027 State Conference, taking place March 2–3, 2027 at Capital University. This year’s conference theme is:

The winning logo will be featured across all official conference communications, marketing materials, the conference program, and may be used for additional promotional purposes throughout the year.

• Challenge Opens: September 15

• Submission Deadline: October 15

• Winner Announced: After selection by the Educators Rising Ohio Conference Executive Committee

🎯 What Your Logo Should Represent

Designs should creatively incorporate:

• The 2027 conference theme (“RIO!: Where Your Students’ Dreams Take Flight!”)

• The core principles of Educators Rising (inspiration, teaching, leadership, professionalism)

🔍 Selection Process

The Educators Rising Ohio Conference Executive Committee will review all submissions and select the design that best represents the conference spirit and meets professional visual standards.

If no submissions meet those standards, Educators Rising Ohio reserves the right to:

• Select no winner, or

• Choose a submitted design concept and work with a digital artist to produce a polished, professional logo.

  • In this scenario, the original concept designer will still be acknowledged as the challenge winner.

⚠️ Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

By submitting a design, participants agree that:

• Educators Rising Ohio will own all rights (including full intellectual property rights) to every submitted design, whether selected as the winner or not.

• Submitted artwork may be used, modified, or adapted for conference-related purposes at any time.

This ensures the organization can freely use the logo for branding and promotional needs connected to the 2027 State Conference.

🤖 AI‑Assisted Art Restriction

To honor creativity and originality:

• AI‑generated or AI‑assisted artwork is not permitted.

• This restriction will be enforced on the honor system.

Students should ensure all elements of their logo are produced through their own design skills and tools.
