What you’ll download

Teacher leaders will export a spreadsheet containing each student’s:

• Student ID, Name

• Competition Event

• Team and Team Captain (if applicable)

• Direct link to the competition platform

• Password for the competition platform

You’ll distribute these login details securely to your students so they can submit their entries within the window.

Step-by-step instructions (with screenshots you’ll add)

1. Sign in to the Conference Registration page

• Navigate to the EdRising Ohio conference registration page and sign in with your Teacher Leader credentials.

2. Scroll to the bottom of your Registered Attendees list

3. At the bottom, locate “Add Student Member”. Just below that you’ll see a blue button labeled:
   Export Judges System Student Submission Information.
   
   

1. Click the blue Export button

• When you click it, the page may jump back to the top. That’s expected.

• Scroll back down again. You’ll now see a notice adjacent to the export button that reads:
  “Right-Click here and select Save Target As to download the data if it does not start downloading automatically.”

• 
  Recommended action: Simply left‑click the blue Export button normally. In most cases, the spreadsheet will download automatically.
  
  

If the file does not download automatically:

• Follow the on‑screen instruction to Right‑click → Save Target As… and save the file to your computer.

1. Open the exported spreadsheet

• Confirm the following columns are present: Student ID, Name, Competition Event, Team, Team Captain (if applicable), Competition Platform Link, Password.
  
  

2. Distribute student login details securely

• Provide each student (or team) only their own platform link and password **NOTE: For Teams events, only the Team Captain will be able to submit materials.

• Remind students to keep their password private and to submit before the deadline.

Key dates & expectations

• Submission window: Open now and closes Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM (ET).

• No late submissions: After 11:59 PM (ET) on February 3, the portal will close for student uploads.

• Best practice: Encourage students to upload at least 24–48 hours before the deadline to avoid last‑minute issues.

Student instructions (you can paste this into your message to students)

1. Use the link and password provided by your Teacher Leader to access the competition platform.

2. Navigate to your assigned Competition Event; if you’re on a Team, your Team Captain may need to initiate the submission.

3. Upload or complete all required materials; verify file types and size limits per event rubric.

4. Click Submit and confirm you see a your materials by backing out and then going back in to the event.

5. If you revise anything before the deadline, re‑submit and reconfirm.

Troubleshooting

• Export button clicked but nothing downloads:
  Try the fallback: Right‑click → Save Target As… and save the spreadsheet locally.

• Spreadsheet columns are missing or blank:
  Refresh the registration page, click Export again, and confirm your students are properly registered to the conference and events. Students must exist in conference registration before they appear in Judge Pro/competition export.

• Student can’t log in:
  Double‑check that the correct password and event link were shared; passwords are case‑sensitive.

• Team submission confusion:
  Ensure the Team Captain initiates the upload if the event requires it, and all team members are listed under the team in the spreadsheet.
