Ohio Educators Rising State Conference Registration Now Open!
We are excited to announce that registration for the Ohio Educators Rising State Conference is officially open! This year, we’ve streamlined the process to make registration fast and simple.
Key Features of Registration:
All rosters are preloaded based on the National EdRising membership database. Please review your roster carefully and contact the state coordinator immediately if you notice any discrepancies.
Teacher leaders will receive emails with personal usernames and passwords sent to the email address registered with the National EdRising member database.
The registration session will time out after 20 minutes, but you can save your progress and return later if you need more time.
You may edit your registration after submission; however, edits must be resubmitted to be recorded.
Invoices can be printed immediately from the registration page and will also be emailed to the address on file.
All conference registration fees must be paid by February 1st to ensure student eligibility for competitive events.
Important Change in Registration Process:
This year’s registration will take place in two phases:
Phase One (November 15 - January 15): Register students and select competitive events.
Phase Two (January 19 - February 3): Upload prescored event materials.
We strongly encourage all teacher leaders and students to begin developing and preparing their prescored event materials now so they are ready for submission during the second phase.
Important Conference Information to Know:
The cost of the conference this year is $50 per registration (student, teacher leader, or chaperone).
All registrations include lunch on both days and conference T-shirt (whether you are competing or not).
All State Conference Registration Fees are to be paid to the State Office. See this W-9 if you need payment information or to set up Ohio Educators Rising as a vendor with your Treasurer.
Some events may be limited to the number of entries that are able to compete onsite due to capacity to complete onsite scoring in a single day.
In this case, pre-scored materials will be utilized to identify the top 15 entries to compete on site.
Typically, these include all Children's Lit competitions and Job Interview.
Other events will be determined based on total entry submissions.
Announcement of these events will occur after the submission window closes on February 3rd.
Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this exciting event! Please check your information carefully, register early, and prepare your materials to make the most of this year’s conference.
For questions or concerns, please contact your Ohio Educators Rising State Coordinator.
